Working as a web developer the chance is quite little that you don’t have to deal with differences in CSS interpretation between the different browsers. This book is a great resource of workarounds to the most common problems and it is full of practical examples. Did you know that the “float” positioning elements is relative to the last parent object (e.g. surrounding DIV) which has the attribute “position: relative” set? Those days Italy is overwhelmed by one book, titled “Generazione 1.000 Euro”. It is a book about a guy who is giving away his manpower nearly for free just to be able to stay in the hip city (Barcelona). He enjoys his life and is happy but just cannot afford anything.

The story is written by two Italians (about the same age as the main character, 30 years old) and it is a story which sounds very very familiar to me and all the people I got to know during my months of slavery (but also great fun) in Barcelona.

I do not like the nick of our generation (”Bobo”) though… and I am really really sorry that I do not speak Italian. Anybody interested in translating the book?
