The extension did not produce any barcode images. When I installed the extension directly from the author's website it worked. Not really much happening besides that. Hope the boom will hit Europe soon (would be great to see native support on all mobile phones... just like in japan).

Found a nice extension for Mozilla Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2780/. Have not yet tested it but although the name is "Mobile Barcoder" the screenshot looks like a QRCode pattern.

QRCode Decoder J2ME Midlet
The author of the offline QRcode decoder is so kind to also provide us with a mobile Java version of this QR decoder: QRMidlet.jad QRMidlet.jar
Some time ago the fabulous drhu00 (GuoQing Hu) joined the QR Code project development team. He is concentrating on a decent J2ME frontend for the encoder/decoder and he is doing a terriific job.
